A Purple Vents sweep combines useful seabed materials and wreck exploration in one repeatable expedition.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Purple Vents seabed and surrounding thermal features, approached from the Twisty Bridges side.
Work across the seabed around thermal towers, collecting surface resources and scanning nearby wrecks as you pass. This is a general biome expedition, distinct from a focused Lithium run.
Depth preparation suited to the section you plan to explore.
Scanner and open inventory space.
A return plan that accounts for oxygen and vehicle safety.
Approach the biome from the Twisty Bridges side and orient yourself using the thermal towers.
Descend along the seabed rather than making a long open-water search.
Collect loose Lithium, Copper, and Titanium you encounter.
Break Shale Outcrops and gather whichever minerals they yield.
Check nearby wreck sections for scannable fragments while keeping the seabed as your main sweep route.
Use towers as landmarks to maintain a return direction and avoid unnecessary detours.
Return to the Seatruck before oxygen or storage becomes a problem, then unload and plan another pass.
Farming tips
Watch for Chelicerate patrols and keep a clear route back to the vehicle.
Avoid parking or lingering close enough to a vent for heat to damage the Seatruck.
Repeat, collect and use
The route is repeatable, but individual loose resources and outcrops are collected once. Expand to another seabed section if a familiar pass is depleted.
Common mistakes
Descending beyond the vehicle’s depth rating: verify the installed module before exploring lower areas.
Treating Shale as a guaranteed source of one mineral: its drops vary.
Following wreck fragments until the return is uncertain: keep the towers and vehicle in your route plan.
When to stop or switch
Finish the pass when storage or oxygen is low, or when the vehicle takes damage; switch to a focused return after upgrading depth access or repairing.
