WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Titanium and Large Deposits

Limestone, Argentite, and Calaverite outcrops in shallow and mid-depth biomes; large Titanium deposits in mining areas and later biomes.

Before you go

Farming steps

  1. Start in a familiar shallow or mid-depth area and search the seabed for Limestone, Argentite, and Calaverite outcrops.
  2. Break outcrops by hand and collect their small metal drops, including Titanium where produced.
  3. Mark large deposits you find beyond your current ability to mine.
  4. When the Prawn Suit Drill Arm is available, take the suit to a marked deposit area.
  5. Use the drill on a large Titanium deposit and collect the resulting ore pieces.
  6. Return to base, store excess ore, and fabricate Titanium Ingots or required parts as needed.
  7. Repeat the outcrop sweep for smaller top-ups and use drill trips when bulk material is the goal.

Repeat, collect and use

Outcrop sweeps can be repeated in other areas. Each large deposit is a finite collection site; move to another deposit after mining it.

Common mistakes

  • Expecting every outcrop type to yield Titanium: drops vary, so gather across multiple outcrops.
  • Trying to mine large deposits by hand: bring the Prawn Suit Drill Arm.
  • Carrying raw ore indefinitely: convert or store it at base according to upcoming recipes.

When to stop or switch

Stop a sweep when storage is full or your vehicle’s safe depth is reached; switch to a drill run for bulk Titanium once equipped.
