Before you go
- Funds and access to purchase a Barn.
- A free building area on the farm.
- Access to an animal shop and the currency its animals require.
Farming steps
- Identify the Barn Animal whose product supports a request, recipe, or sales plan.
- Check that animal’s entry for its product and care needs.
- Purchase the Barn and place it where you have room for a working livestock area.
- Visit Kitty’s Animal Store or the appropriate regional animal shop.
- Buy an animal using the currency accepted by that vendor.
- Place and care for the animal as its needs require, then collect its listed product when available.
- Store or process the output, and add animals only while capacity and product demand justify it.
- The Barn adds capacity for Barn Animals; confirm the animal belongs in that building before buying.
- Budget regional currency for regional animal vendors rather than assuming Sun Haven gold will work.
Repeat, collect and use
Barn construction is a one-time purchase per building, while buying animals and collecting their products can repeat within available capacity.
Common mistakes
- Buying the animal before confirming suitable housing leaves the production chain incomplete; secure the Barn first.
- Filling capacity without a use for output creates unnecessary care and storage work; begin with a target product.
- Confusing regional currency can prevent an animal purchase; check the vendor’s listed payment type.
When to stop or switch
Stop adding Barn Animals when the building’s capacity is reached or when product storage and demand no longer support expansion.
