Before you go
- Access to the region or biome you plan to search.
- Inventory space for collected items.
- A target ingredient or current request when possible.
Farming steps
- Identify the forage item needed and its listed biome or season.
- Walk the Sun Haven forest paths and town edges, checking visible ground items and harvestable plants.
- When Nel’Vari is unlocked, search along the Elven Forest path between Sun Haven and the village.
- Check the Withergate biome after reaching that region for its own forage sources.
- Collect only items you can carry and reserve ingredients needed for cooking, crafting, or requests.
- Return to town or your farm and store required materials before selling any surplus.
- Repeat a route later if the target has not appeared or more stock is needed.
- Keep separate notes or storage for regional ingredients so local requests do not consume the wrong stock.
- Use item location details to choose a biome; forage is not uniform across regions or seasons.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the walking route when you need more items; visible pickups and available species vary by location and conditions.
Common mistakes
- Searching every region for a biome-specific item wastes travel; verify the target’s location first.
- Selling all forage can leave no ingredient for a request; reserve the required amount before shipping.
- Assuming a route always contains a target item leads to a false expectation; gather what is visible and revisit as needed.
When to stop or switch
Stop the route when you have enough for the active goal or when remaining inventory space is needed for other materials.
