Copper Ore
Original-map Strata 1 Copper Vein at X78/Y63; other listed Strata 1 options are X153/Y119 and X276/Y185.
Before you go
- Base campaign on the original map, with access to Strata 1.
- Standard Pickaxe for hand mining, or a Mining Drill after unlocking it.
- A smelter or the applicable Terminal Lima conversion task to process ore.
Farming steps
- Use the resource index’s original-map listing to identify the X78/Y63 Strata 1 copper vein.
- Travel through explored cave passages to the marked site and confirm the exposed copper deposit.
- Mine Copper Ore by hand with the Standard Pickaxe, or place a Mining Drill if you have the required equipment.
- Carry the ore back to the factory or route it to the processing area.
- Use the Terminal Lima copper conversion task when it is active; its listed exchange is five Copper Ingots for two Copper Ore.
- Keep ingots for copper components, wire, and the next requested progression items.
- When the first deposit is exhausted, travel to X153/Y119 or X276/Y185 and repeat.
- The resource listing confirms locations and that veins are finite; it does not provide vein quantities or a refill interval.
- Keep raw ore separate from ingots so you can tell which stock remains available for terminal conversions.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat across the listed Strata 1 veins while deposits remain. Each vein is finite, so this is a sequence of sites rather than a regenerating farm.
Common mistakes
- Expecting a depleted vein to refill: move to another listed copper location.
- Using the wrong map or stratum: verify the original-map Strata 1 entry before setting out.
- Spending all raw copper on general crafting: reserve ore if the Lima conversion task is still ahead.
When to stop or switch
Leave a site when its deposit is depleted or the remaining ore is inconvenient to collect; shift to another copper vein or an automated supply.
