WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Deathweed grows on Corruption or Crimson grass; Waterleaf grows on Desert sand. Maintain both in Planter Boxes.

Find Deathweed in Corruption or Crimson grass and Waterleaf in Desert sand, then establish a garden with separate Planter Boxes. Deathweed blooms during a Blood Moon or full moon, while Waterleaf blooms in rain. Wait for the matching state when seed replenishment matters. Store herbs for potion recipes and retain seed stock for replanting. Planter Boxes keep future harvests accessible even though the original plants grow in different regions. Collect for a recipe and leave the rest of the garden intact.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Deathweed and Waterleaf seeds.
  • Planter Boxes or Clay Pots.
  • Access to Corruption or Crimson and Desert growth for initial collection.
  1. Search Corruption or Crimson grass for Deathweed and collect seeds where available.
  2. Visit Desert sand to find Waterleaf and gather seeds.
  3. Set up separate labeled Planter Boxes at base and plant each herb.
  4. Allow the plants to grow while keeping rows accessible.
  5. Check Deathweed during a Blood Moon or full moon and Waterleaf during rain.
  6. Harvest in the corresponding bloom state to collect herbs and maintain seed stock.
  7. Use herbs in recipes and replant from saved seeds.

Farming tips

  • Keep a seed reserve so a potion session does not empty the garden.
  • Check conditions before harvesting; early collection may not replenish seeds.

Repeat, collect and use

Harvest the garden again as plants grow. Seed recovery depends on conditions and is not guaranteed from every plant.

Common mistakes

  • Harvesting Deathweed outside its bloom conditions when seeds matter; wait for a Blood Moon or full moon.
  • Expecting Waterleaf to bloom in dry weather; check for rain before seed-focused harvesting.
  • Combining the rows; label them to keep herbs and seeds distinct.

When to stop or switch

Stop when you have enough herbs for the planned recipe. Let remaining plants grow for the next batch.
