Earn Phoenix Credits from Challenging Missions

Phoenix Credits buy level 30 equipment from endgame vendors. Challenging main missions offer a repeatable way to earn them when you have finished the available daily objectives or want to keep farming beyond them.

PC / Global, Definitive Edition (base game plus Underground, Survival and Last Stand expansions)
WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

The Manhattan map’s main mission selector and the level 30 equipment vendors at the Base of Operations.

At level 30, completing main missions on Challenging difficulty awards Phoenix Credits. Use the mission’s displayed reward information to choose a run, finish the activity, and spend the credits on equipment that supports your current build. The amount and available mission options can vary, so check the in-game panels before committing.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Reach level 30 and unlock the main mission you plan to replay.
  • Have a loadout that can handle the mission on Challenging difficulty.
  • Check the mission panel for its current Phoenix Credit reward.
  1. Open the map and review the daily mission list and main mission options.
  2. Choose a main mission marked Challenging and confirm its reward panel lists Phoenix Credits.
  3. Check the recommended group size and difficulty details, then adjust your loadout or form a squad if needed.
  4. Launch the mission and follow its objectives through each encounter.
  5. Defeat the final enemies and complete the mission; confirm the reward before leaving the activity.
  6. Open the endgame vendor menus and compare level 30 equipment against your current build.
  7. Buy equipment that fills a specific gap, or save credits for a more useful vendor item.

Farming tips

  • If a daily mission also offers Phoenix Credits, prioritize it when its listed reward and objectives suit your session.
  • Review vendor stock before spending so you know which equipment slot or build need you are saving toward.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat eligible Challenging main missions while their reward panels show Phoenix Credits. This is a repeatable activity; daily mission options and their bonuses follow the in-game schedule.

Common mistakes

  • Assuming every mission difficulty awards Phoenix Credits: verify the Challenging reward panel before launching.
  • Starting a difficulty your build cannot clear reliably: lower the difficulty or bring a squad, then return when better equipped.
  • Spending credits without checking vendor stock: compare the available level 30 gear to your build first.

When to stop or switch

Stop when you have enough credits for the equipment you are targeting, or switch to another endgame activity if the mission is taking too long for its displayed reward.
