Before you go
- Underground expansion access in the Definitive Edition.
- Reach level 30 for endgame operations.
- Select difficulty and modifiers your loadout can handle.
Farming steps
- Enter the Underground interface and review the available operation choices.
- Choose the mission length, difficulty, and modifiers shown for the run.
- Launch the operation and follow its objective markers through the generated space.
- Clear enemy groups while using cover and conserve skills for dangerous encounters.
- If a Hunter appears, prioritize survival and focus the squad’s fire on the threat.
- Complete all remaining objectives and reach the operation completion reward.
- Claim and inspect the reward, keeping useful gear and processing the rest.
- Higher difficulty increases the challenge; scale the operation to how consistently your group can finish.
- Keep the team together in procedural spaces so no one is isolated if a Hunter appears.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable. Operations can be run again, but Hunter appearances are not guaranteed on every mission.
Common mistakes
- Assuming every run includes a Hunter; plan for the operation reward as the base outcome.
- Choosing modifiers without considering their effect on your build; read them before launch.
- Rushing objective rooms alone; stay with the group and use cover.
When to stop or switch
Stop after the operation yields the desired reward or the chosen difficulty begins producing unreliable clears; adjust settings before the next run.
