Progress Void Erosion Purge for Weapon Cores

Weapon Cores support endgame weapon development, and Void Erosion Purge is a staged source for them.

PC / Global (Nexon, Update 1.4.3)
WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Use the Void Erosion icon on the World Map or the Infiltration Operations Terminal in Albion.

Void Erosion Purge is a timed, staged activity that awards Weapon Cores. A clear advances the track only when it meets that stage’s target time; a slower clear can still pay completion rewards. Deaths reduce the available target time, so a build that survives can be more useful than one focused only on damage. Check the active stage and time condition before entering, then confirm the next stage unlocked after a qualifying clear. Progress and first-clear rewards are episode-sensitive, so inspect the current track when returning after a season episode change.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Mastery Rank 18.
  • Complete “Disseminating Response Policy to the Void Anomalies” from the Descendant Instructor in Albion.
  • A build that can deal damage while surviving the timed stages.
  1. Open Void Erosion Purge after completing its access quest.
  2. Choose an unlocked stage and read its target time.
  3. Enter and follow the marked objectives, prioritizing efficient progress and survival.
  4. Avoid deaths because they reduce the target time available.
  5. Complete the stage and collect its Weapon Core reward.
  6. If the result met the target, verify that the following stage is unlocked.

Farming tips

  • A clear over ten minutes can still award its completion reward but does not unlock the next stage.
  • Check the active episode track when returning; stage progress resets seasonally.

Repeat, collect and use

Replay stages for the rewards currently listed. Episode first-clear rewards reset each season episode; later clears in that episode use the repeat reward listing.

Common mistakes

  • Expecting every clear to unlock the next stage; meet its time condition.
  • Building only for damage; deaths reduce the effective time budget.
  • Assuming old progress persists after an episode reset; inspect the current track.

When to stop or switch

Stop when you have the Weapon Cores you need or reach a stage whose time target you cannot meet. Improve your build and return if the timer blocks progression.
