- Campaign research access and the points or resources required by the displayed node.
- Completion of prerequisites listed in the live tree.
- A specific resource need that matches the actual unlock.
Farming steps
- Open the research tree and locate Resource Synthesizers.
- Inspect the node’s prerequisite chain and current cost.
- Read the unlock description and identify its actual structure or production function.
- Compare the shown output with the shortage you are trying to solve.
- Research the node only if its reward addresses that need.
- Build or activate the unlocked production method as instructed by the in-game interface.
- Check the resulting stockpile or production status before relying on it for a large project.
- Treat each synthesizer level as its own unlock; inspect the level you intend to purchase.
- Keep Rare Element Mining separate in your planning because it is listed as a different research track.
Repeat, collect and use
Research is a one-time progression unlock per level. Any production enabled by it can be repeated only according to the actual in-game building and input rules.
Common mistakes
- Assuming the name means any basic ore can be created: verify the named output in the unlock details.
- Skipping prerequisites: follow the displayed tree rather than spending toward an unavailable node.
- Planning construction around unverified production: test the unlock and confirm output first.
When to stop or switch
