- Cultivator with a selectable plant and water supply.
- Energy for Cultivator upkeep.
- A plant biomass power plant unlocked and connected to the grid.
- Collection or logistics that can deliver plant output.
Farming steps
- Place the Cultivator on clear ground within reach of water and power.
- Use the sapling control to select an available plant species.
- Check that the intended growing patch lies within its displayed range.
- Build or confirm a biomass plant on the same power network.
- Set up plant collection and route output toward storage or the plant’s fuel supply.
- Reserve a portion of output for non-fuel material needs before feeding the generator.
- Check both Cultivator upkeep and power-plant fuel status after the chain starts.
- Do not route all plant output to fuel when the same resource is needed for construction.
- A power plant’s continuing demand means collection must stay active after the first batch.
Repeat, collect and use
Continue cultivating, collecting, and feeding fuel while the power plant is needed. The output cycle repeats as long as the field and collection system operate.
Common mistakes
- Building the generator without a collection path: establish how fuel reaches it.
- Using up material reserves as fuel: split the output plan before the line begins.
- Assuming Cultivator plants spawn outside range: verify the field indicator and clear patch.
When to stop or switch
Stop or throttle the fuel feed when the grid has adequate generation or plant output is needed more urgently for construction.
