Where to farm
Mage Academy IV campaign area, Temppopotamus Bastion.
At roughly level 40, Mage Academy IV’s Temppopotamus Bastion is an early to midgame area for collecting Slorm. It is a practical campaign route while you are not yet farming the Great Forge. The goal is simple: clear the named area, collect whatever Slorm drops during the run, and repeat only while the enemies remain a reasonable match for your character. Spend the currency on current skill or Ancestral upgrades.
Have progressed far enough to access Mage Academy IV.
Have a build that can clear the area without excessive downtime.
Open the campaign route and travel to Mage Academy IV.
Enter Temppopotamus Bastion.
Clear the enemy packs along the area’s ordinary route, collecting Slorm that drops.
Finish the area rather than waiting for a special spawn or relying on a guaranteed pack payout.
Return to the Bastion and repeat while its enemies remain appropriate for your level.
Spend the collected Slorm on skill upgrades or Ancestral progression that improves your current build.
Move on to Great Forge farming once it is unlocked and its waves are manageable.
Farming tips
This is a campaign-area farm, not a respawn exploit; use the normal area reset and repeat.
Keep the route tied to your progression: the source identifies Great Forge as the stronger later option.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable while Mage Academy IV remains suitable for your level and campaign access is available. It is an interim farm, not a limited one-time reward.
Common mistakes
Expecting a guaranteed amount from each enemy pack is unsupported; collect the drops that appear.
Staying after the area has become slow or unsafe wastes time; switch to a stronger route when accessible.
Confusing the target with another Mage Academy area can send you to the wrong location; confirm the Bastion name.
When to stop or switch
Switch to Great Forge when it is unlocked and delivers better progress, or leave sooner if the Bastion no longer suits your level.
