Unlock character Reapers from Rift and Temple drops

Expand a character’s Reaper choices through random drops from closed Rift breaches or completed Temple rooms.

PC / Global, current Steam build with Great Forge
WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Closed Rift breaches or completed Slorm Temple rooms.

Rift closures and completed Slorm Temple rooms can yield Reapers, and the specific drop is random. This is a collection goal rather than a named-item farm. Choose either activity your character can complete reliably; Rifts suit a focused breach loop, while Temple rooms can pair collection with Temple progression. Check each reward, unlock any Reaper that is new to the character, and repeat until the collection has options that support your build.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Reach Rift encounters or unlock the Slorm Temple.
  • Use a build that can complete the chosen activity repeatedly.
  • Accept random Reaper results rather than expecting a named weapon.
  1. Choose the Rift or Temple route that best fits your current progression.
  2. For a Rift, clear the breach encounter and close its portal; for Temple, complete the room.
  3. Inspect the resulting rewards for a Reaper.
  4. Unlock any newly acquired Reaper for the active character.
  5. Review its effect and decide whether it suits the current build.
  6. Continue the selected activity if more collection options are useful.
  7. Switch between Rift and Temple only when the other route better matches your remaining progression needs.

Farming tips

  • A low difficulty that allows reliable completion can be preferable when the main goal is collection.
  • Temple runs can also advance Temple rewards, while Rift runs focus the loop on closing breaches.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeatable. Drops are random; there is no supported guarantee for a particular Reaper or a fixed number of closures.

Common mistakes

  • Leaving a Rift open skips the stated closure condition; finish and close it.
  • Treating a Temple room as complete before its encounter is finished risks missing its drop opportunity.
  • Expecting the same character’s Reaper collection to transfer automatically is unsafe; unlock drops for the character you are playing.

When to stop or switch

Stop when the character has enough Reaper choices for the build, or switch activities when the current route is no longer giving useful parallel progress.
