Before you go
- Access the Nesting Grounds region and its Exploration Codex objective, “One Flew Over the Terror Bird’s Nest.”
- Have a Glide Morph available for the Codex’s stated route from the highest point of Starlight Observatory Ruins.
- Be prepared to climb Starlight Observatory Ruins and make a controlled approach to the southern nest.
Farming steps
- Open the Exploration Codex and select the Nesting Grounds objective “One Flew Over the Terror Bird’s Nest” so its requirements are visible.
- Travel to Starlight Observatory Ruins and climb to its highest point.
- Speak with the wandering chef Trevor at the top to register the first objective.
- From the same high point, use a Glide Morph and head southwest toward Nesting Grounds, aiming for the giant southern Terror Bird nest.
- Steer toward the circular part of the nest between the rocks and land close enough to interact with the Chief Terror Bird Eggs.
- Collect the eggs, then check the Exploration Codex tracker to confirm the Nesting Grounds objective completed.
- Claim or verify the listed Headcrusher Terror Bird and Special Resistance Medal rewards in the objective/result interface.
- If the glide misses, return to the observatory high point and try again; the guide also documents climbing up the rocks from the eastern side as an alternate approach.
- The Codex’s intended route begins at the highest point of Starlight Observatory Ruins; starting from a lower ledge can leave the glide short.
- Aim for the nest’s circular landing area between rocks rather than a broad landing elsewhere in the valley.
