Chaos Dungeon keys come from eligible end bosses and form three-part sets required to open dungeon gates. Target the boss pool that can drop the specific key type and difficulty band you need, then store pieces until a complete set is assembled.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
End-boss encounters across the campaign, including Telkines, Typhon, Hades and Surtr on eligible difficulties.
Choose a dungeon and tier first: Greece keys can drop from the listed end bosses on all difficulties, Egypt keys are listed for Epic and Legendary, and the Hades dungeon set is listed for Legendary. Farm accessible bosses such as Telkines, Typhon, Hades or Surtr where available, check for numbered key pieces after each clear, and stop when the set is complete.
Select the target Chaos Dungeon and difficulty before farming.
Reach at least one end boss eligible to drop that key set.
Have storage space for key pieces; duplicate copies may be held in stash.
Bring a reliable build for repeated boss clears.
Check the key name and number for the dungeon gate you intend to open.
Choose an eligible boss and difficulty: Greece keys are available across difficulties; Egypt keys require Epic or Legendary; Hades keys require Legendary.
Travel to the nearest activated fountain and follow the campaign route to the boss.
Defeat the boss, collect its loot and check your inventory for the needed key piece.
Move collected keys to stash so they remain organized and are ready for the gate.
Repeat eligible boss clears until you have one of each of the three numbered pieces.
Take the set to its matching gate only when ready to spend it.
Farming tips
Electrum orbs are another listed key source where available, but those purchases use Electrum rather than gold.
Key pieces are not guaranteed per boss kill, so choose a boss route you can clear efficiently.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable while the eligible boss encounter can be reset. Keys are randomized drops; opening a gate consumes a set for that difficulty, so farming is needed again for another tier.
Common mistakes
Farming the wrong difficulty band: match the key set’s eligibility before choosing a boss.
Using a partial or mismatched key set: collect the three numbered pieces for the same dungeon.
Carrying keys into an unintended gate: store them until you are ready to commit the set.
When to stop or switch
Stop when one complete set for the chosen gate and tier is in storage; resume only for another difficulty unlock or a new attempt requiring keys.
