WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Pyrgos Outskirts in Wild Lands; speak with Itys to start Cages in the Dark.
Cages in the Dark starts when you speak with Itys in Pyrgos Outskirts. The confirmed details establish that starting point, but do not specify the later route or a particular reward amount. After speaking with Itys, track the quest in your journal and follow the objective the game currently gives you. Check the completion state and collect whatever reward appears in-game. This is a quest completion, not a repeatable gold or experience farm. The guide applies to Wild Lands in PC Global Early Access; reach the chapter by following the concluding quest at the end of Chapter 3.
Follow the concluding Chapter 3 quest to unlock Wild Lands.
Reach Pyrgos Outskirts and locate Itys.
Be ready to track the quest objective in the journal after speaking with him.
Travel to Pyrgos Outskirts and look for Itys.
Speak with Itys to begin Cages in the Dark.
Open the journal and select the quest to see its current objective.
Follow the objective instructions through any required interactions or encounters.
Recheck the journal as you progress so you know whether the current task is finished.
When the journal registers completion, collect the reward the game displays.
Confirm the quest is marked complete before selecting your next objective.
Farming tips
If you do not see a quest marker, visit Pyrgos Outskirts and speak to Itys directly.
Use the active journal objective to guide the follow-up; the confirmed start point does not reveal the later sequence.
Repeat, collect and use
Treat Cages in the Dark as a one-time quest. No repeat, reset, or recurring payout is confirmed.
Common mistakes
Searching for the start in another area: this quest begins by speaking with Itys in Pyrgos Outskirts.
Stopping after the conversation: track and finish the objective shown in the journal.
Returning to farm a specific gold or XP amount: no exact payout or repeat loop is established.
When to stop or switch
Stop when Cages in the Dark is marked complete and you have collected the displayed reward; continue with another World Quest or the chapter objective.
