Before you go
- Unlock crafting in the current Early Access build.
- Have an existing item with an available affix slot.
- Have the materials and gold shown for the add-affix action.
Farming steps
- Inspect candidate gear and select a base whose current properties already fit your build.
- Confirm that the item has room for another affix in the crafting interface.
- Choose Add Affix and review the eligible options shown.
- Compare the displayed cost with the item’s likely value and your available resources.
- Choose a property that strengthens the item’s intended role and confirm the action.
- Compare the finished item with current equipment and equip or store it if useful.
- Add an affix to a strong base rather than using resources to rescue a poor item.
- Read the available options instead of assuming a particular affix can be selected.
Repeat, collect and use
You can add affixes to eligible items that still have space, subject to the interface’s rules and rising costs for repeated crafting. Each item has a limit; no exact number is asserted here.
Common mistakes
- Trying to craft an item from scratch: start with equipment you have already found.
- Ignoring the slot limit: use the interface to check eligibility before planning the spend.
- Adding an irrelevant property: choose based on the item’s role in your build.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the item has no available affix slot, the result supports your build, or a replacement base makes further spending unnecessary. Save resources for another useful item.
