Before you go
- Reach an overworld area with a Phase Beast.
- Be prepared to defeat the beast and complete its randomly selected challenge.
- Leave room for drops and chest rewards.
Farming steps
- Explore the region until you locate a Phase Beast.
- Defeat the beast and enter the challenge portal it opens.
- Read the objective and identify hazards or targets before committing to a fight.
- Complete the challenge and collect accessible chests and dropped loot.
- Check the reward before leaving so gold and equipment are not overlooked.
- Return to the overworld and resume exploration or seek another activity.
- Sundered Battlefield’s Avoid the Lava challenge is noted as a chest-focused option, but the portal draw is random.
- Pick up and compare items before leaving; a unique drop is possible but not guaranteed.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat with other Phase Beasts as you encounter them. Challenge type and loot vary, so this is not a selectable gold or unique farm.
Common mistakes
- Entering with a full inventory and missing useful drops; make room before the challenge.
- Assuming you can select Avoid the Lava or another specific task; the challenge is randomly chosen.
- Leaving before checking chests; inspect the objective area after completion.
When to stop or switch
Complete the current challenge and leave when its rewards are collected; skip further searching if the activity is too risky or offers little value.
