Before you go
- Reach a town where Rahndo the Gambler is available.
- Have gold you are willing to spend on random gear.
- Identify a gear slot that is behind your current character level or build needs.
Farming steps
- Open your inventory and identify the slot most in need of an upgrade.
- Visit Rahndo the Gambler in town and review the random item purchase option.
- Spend gold on an item at your current character level.
- Inspect the item’s slot, level, and affixes against the equipment you currently use.
- Equip it if it improves the build, or retain it only if it serves a planned use.
- Return to ordinary drops, Contracts, or dungeon runs rather than repeatedly spending without a limit.
- Use gambling to catch up a neglected slot, not to pursue a guaranteed item; each result is random.
- Compare affixes and build fit instead of judging an item only by its level.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable while Rahndo is available and you have gold; every purchase yields a random item, not a guaranteed upgrade.
Common mistakes
- Spending all gold while chasing one named item: the offer is random, so set a stopping point.
- Ignoring a slot’s actual needs: decide what you want to improve before buying.
- Equipping only because the item is current-level: compare its affixes and effect with your existing gear.
When to stop or switch
Stop after receiving a useful upgrade, when gold is needed elsewhere, or when repeated results do not improve the chosen slot; return to drops and Contract rewards.
