Before you go
- Play the active Tartarus season and unlock its mechanic.
- Have Netherrealm map access.
- Make room in the session to return to prison management after a map.
Farming steps
- Open a Netherrealm map and watch for the seasonal escaped-prisoner encounter.
- Engage the fugitive and complete the capture interaction presented in the map.
- Collect the resulting Prisoner Nameplate.
- Finish the map so the encounter is not left unresolved.
- Return to Tartarus and check the captured inmate in the prison interface.
- Place the inmate in an available cell, reading the displayed options before committing.
- Repeat map encounters to build a roster for later prison development.
- Keep this sourcing loop separate in your mind from the prison cycle: a Nameplate adds an inmate, but does not by itself complete a Riot.
- Check the prisoner record after capture so you know which creature type and matchup it contributes.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable while the active season offers escaped prisoners in maps; roster capacity and seasonal rules may limit how many captures are useful.
Common mistakes
- Assuming a capture automatically advances every prison objective: return to the prison and handle the inmate there.
- Placing inmates without checking their type: read the matchup information first so later development remains possible.
When to stop or switch
Pause prisoner collection when you have enough inmates to work through the available cells or need to finish the prison cycle already in progress.
