Before you go
- Unlock Timemark 7 and its Plane Watcher challenge.
- Have Netherrealm stages available to earn Starshards.
- Be able to clear the Watcher reliably before spending entry items on Traveler.
Farming steps
- Run Timemark 7 Netherrealm stages and collect the Starshards credited by completed stages.
- Check the progression interface for the Timemark 7 Plane Watcher challenge and start it when available.
- Defeat the Plane Watcher, then inspect the drops for The Beginning.
- Return to Netherrealm stages to build Starshard progress for another Watcher challenge.
- Repeat the Watcher clear and check the item count after each encounter.
- When you have four The Beginning, open the Timemark 7 Realm Lord Traveler challenge and confirm the displayed cost.
- Start the Traveler fight when ready; afterward, check your remaining supply before deciding whether to farm another set.
- The Beginning is the Timemark 7 Realm Lord entry material; The End and Beginning of the End are for different Traveler challenges.
- Treat Starshards as Watcher access progress, not as a guaranteed drop or a Traveler key.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat stage clears and Timemark 7 Plane Watcher challenges while you need The Beginning. The four-item cost applies to each Realm Lord attempt; stop once you have enough for the attempts you plan to make.
Common mistakes
- Farming regional bosses for The Beginning: use the Timemark 7 Plane Watcher route.
- Counting Starshards toward the four-item Traveler cost: they advance Watcher access only.
- Using The End or Beginning of the End for Realm Lord: check that the challenge is Timemark 7 and asks for The Beginning.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have four The Beginning for each planned attempt. If Watcher clears are inconsistent, pause the route and improve your character before continuing.
