Frontier Clash > Evolution, the five-stage seasonal boss challenge in the Global PC service.
Before you go
- Reach Wanderer Level 90 to unlock Evolution difficulty.
- Enter while the current Evolution Frontier season is active.
- Prepare weapons that cover more than one damage option so you can respond to changing weaknesses.
Farming steps
- Open Frontier Clash and choose Evolution difficulty.
- Review the season’s five bosses and the reward tiers shown in the interface.
- Check each boss’s displayed weaknesses before starting its stage.
- Enter the stage and defeat the boss before its two-minute timer expires.
- When a boss evolves and its weakness changes, switch to a better-matched weapon if your roster allows.
- Continue through the remaining stages, tracking which reward tiers the interface marks as cleared.
- Claim the available seasonal rewards from the challenge screen.
- Use the current stage preview as the authority for boss weaknesses and rewards; both can change between seasons.
- If a timer is tight, prioritize staying alive and using your best-matched weapons over forcing one fixed team through every stage.
Repeat, collect and use
You can replay the challenge while the season is active, but each seasonal reward tier can be earned only once that season. Revisit after a new season begins for its new lineup and rewards.
Common mistakes
- Starting without checking weaknesses: inspect each stage first and adjust your weapons where possible.
- Assuming a replay grants the same tier again: use the reward screen to identify tiers already claimed.
- Treating the challenge as evergreen: finish desired tiers before the season ends.
When to stop or switch
Stop when all reward tiers you can claim are collected, or switch to other progression if the remaining stage is beyond your current team’s clear speed.
