Where to farm
Geode Topside dungeons across Cerise Sandsea, Hollow Dunes, and Weathered Wasteland.
Geode Topside dungeon encounters can give Crystalline Cores through their timed reward grades. The documented reward structure distinguishes one daily Gold reward, worth eight cores when enough time remains, up to two daily Silver rewards worth three cores, and unlimited Bronze rewards consisting of a Lesser Geodian Topside Cache. These thresholds and reward rules are patch-sensitive, so check the in-game completion result. The route is to finish the dungeon’s Dark Heart encounter quickly, then decide whether another run still targets a limited core reward or only the cache.

Combat power sufficient to clear the dungeon and boss promptly.
Inventory space for cores or caches.
A dungeon encounter with a Dark Heart to activate.
Travel to a Topside world you qualify for and choose a nearby dungeon.
Find and activate the Dark Heart to begin the encounter.
Locate the boss or cursed skulls in the dungeon and defeat the encounter targets.
Complete the dungeon while watching the remaining time shown by the activity.
Collect the completion reward and check whether it is Gold, Silver, or Bronze.
Track daily Gold and Silver rewards so you know when their limited core payouts are used.
Continue for another limited reward if available, or stop when only the repeatable Bronze cache remains useful.
Farming tips
Topside daily bonuses apply; check the active bonus when deciding what to run.
The sub-biomes share dungeon types, so favor the terrain you clear most efficiently.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable daily, but the recorded Gold reward is limited to one per day and Silver to two; Bronze cache rewards are unlimited. Verify the current in-game rules.
Common mistakes
Expecting eight cores from every clear: Gold core rewards are daily-limited and time-graded.
Ignoring the timer: activate and finish the encounter promptly to pursue higher grades.
Continuing after limited rewards are spent without wanting caches: switch to gear or Cosmic Gem farming.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the daily Gold and Silver core rewards are claimed or your remaining runs no longer serve your cache goal; return after the reset.
