WHERE & HOW TO FARM Where to farm Choose Verdant Veins from the Mining Facility in the Geode Hub.
Verdant Veins is one of the Geode caves, and its resource pool is shaped by cave depth. Use it when your Geode crafting or collection goal calls for resources found there. The route is exploratory: harvest resource rooms as you encounter them, and use the tier lights on gateways to tell whether you are moving toward a deeper resource band. Companion Eggs are rare discoveries during exploration, not a dependable result from a specific node.
Before you go Geode cave access and a Discovery Suit. Omni Tool module for harvesting ores and organics. Modules suited to the depth you intend to reach. Inventory capacity for cave resources. At the Mining Facility, select Verdant Veins and identify the resource you need before entering. Enter the cave and read gateway lights as you advance between tiers. Explore resource rooms on the route rather than bypassing all harvestable nodes. Use the Omni Tool on ore and organic resources; use a Thumper to reveal hidden deposits where useful. Upgrade or adjust movement modules if a tier is slowing your progress. Bank the materials in the Geode inventory when you return to the hub. Check the amount against your recipe or collection, then repeat only if more is required. Farming tips The cave’s resource list is organized by tier, so use depth as part of target selection. Treat companion eggs as occasional exploration finds rather than a node farm. Repeat, collect and use Repeatable cave resource loop. Resource availability depends on cave and depth; individual nodes and rare eggs are not guaranteed each run.
Common mistakes Harvesting without a specific target: decide which recipe or collection you are filling first. Expecting the same resource at every tier: follow gateway indicators into the appropriate depth range. Assuming a companion egg comes from a named node: eggs are rare finds while exploring. When to stop or switch Stop when the chosen recipe or collection is funded; switch caves if the remaining materials are not part of Verdant Veins’ pool.
