Queue for a Public Delve at the Delve Hall in the Hub, or enter a Private Delve gateway if you have one.
Before you go
- Delve access through the Hub activity.
- Combat gear suited to the depth you choose.
- Delve Shadowkeys for eligible Shadow Vaults.
- Inventory space for rewards.
Farming steps
- Travel to the Delve Hall and queue for a Public Delve or enter a Private gateway.
- Read the floor’s objective when the cave loads.
- Follow the objective markers and defeat enemies needed to complete that floor.
- Find and defeat the floor boss to finish the encounter and continue deeper.
- Watch for eligible Shadow Vault rooms during your run.
- Use a Delve Shadowkey on a vault you intend to open and collect its contents.
- Continue only while objectives and bosses remain manageable; exit after the run stops being reliable.
- Use rewards to fund the next run or the relevant crafting goal.
- A completed boss encounter is the dependable basis for progressing deeper; do not skip the floor’s objective.
- Keep keys for vaults you are ready to open and check the reward rules before spending them.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable activity. Depth and cave layout vary; soul rewards and some associated currencies have weekly limits, so further vault openings may not repeat the same weekly payout.
Common mistakes
- Using obsolete Shadow Tower routes: enter Delves for the current soul activity.
- Pushing beyond a sustainable depth: lower or hold depth until objectives and bosses are consistently clearable.
- Opening every vault without tracking limits: check weekly reward eligibility before spending keys.
When to stop or switch
Stop a run when the selected depth becomes unreliable or the target weekly soul rewards are collected; resume at a sustainable depth later.
