WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Traces of Time event during Chaos Dungeon; use Researcher Dewey in Saluto to manage Zodiac Stones and engraving.
Emotions come from defeating monsters in the Traces of Time event inside Chaos Dungeon. They are used for Emotion Engraving on Zodiac Stones, so collect them whenever you run the event instead of treating them as incidental drops. The same event also grants Zodiac Stones, which makes it a useful combined progression stop. After the run, use the Zodiac interface in Saluto to review your Stones and apply engraving where it advances your build.
Reach the Traces of Time event, either when it appears or by guaranteeing it with Memory Rune (Time) and Chaos Points.
Have Zodiac Stones available for any engraving you plan to perform.
Choose a Chaos Dungeon map that you can clear reliably.
Activate Memory Rune (Time) with Chaos Points if you want to guarantee the event and the option is available.
Progress through the dungeon until the Traces of Time event begins.
Interact with the event object if prompted, then engage the event monsters.
Defeat the monsters and collect the Emotions and Zodiac Stones they grant.
Return to Saluto and open Zodiac Stone management through Researcher Dewey.
Select a Stone and use the available Emotion Engraving option when its requirements and intended effect suit your build.
Farming tips
Treat Emotions as crafting materials for Zodiac progression; check your available Stones before spending them.
If you are short on Emotions, prioritize event completion and collection over rushing past the event area.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable whenever you complete the event in Chaos Dungeon. The event can occur randomly, or you can spend Chaos Points to guarantee it with Memory Rune (Time). Exact reward quantities can vary.
Common mistakes
Assuming Emotions are automatically applied to a Stone: collect them, then use the engraving interface yourself.
Spending Emotions before checking which Stone you want to improve: decide on a target first.
Confusing an ordinary dungeon clear with an event clear: Emotions are tied to the event monsters.
When to stop or switch
Stop farming Emotions once you have enough for the next engraving you intend to make, or pause if you lack a suitable Zodiac Stone to improve.
