Use the Cotton Farms as a targeted field-gathering trip. Harvest plants, collect any seeds you find, and turn those seeds into a home supply by planting them in owned castle territory. Cotton Farm locations also support servant hunts, but those are delayed supplementary returns rather than an immediate harvest.

Bring inventory space for Cotton and any seeds or other useful harvests. Have castle territory and suitable planting space if you intend to grow Cotton at home. Choose either Cotton Farm as your destination and travel there by a route that lets you manage daytime exposure. Survey the planted fields and deal with nearby threats that could interrupt harvesting. Collect Cotton from the fields and check the area for seeds as you gather. Leave room for incidental materials rather than filling your inventory before checking the rest of the farm. Return to the castle and plant any Cotton seeds in owned territory to establish a renewable supply. Use collected Cotton toward thread and cloth recipes that are currently available to you. After discovering the destination, send a servant hunt there when you want a passive supplement. Farming tips West and East Cotton Farms are separate destinations; uncover the one you plan to use before expecting it to appear in hunt options. Plant seeds in your territory to reduce repeated travel for crops once you have established a garden. Repeat, collect and use Repeat field visits when stocks run low, and harvest castle-grown plants as they mature. Replant seeds when available to maintain the home supply.
Common mistakes Harvesting without leaving space for seeds: keep some inventory capacity available during the trip. Expecting the servant hunt to replace immediate gathering: use the field route when Cotton is needed now. Planting outside owned territory: seeds grow as crops in your castle territory. When to stop or switch Stop when your next thread or cloth needs are covered and the garden has a growing supply; switch to another Dunley objective afterward.
