Mine Tech Scrap at Gloomrot North Trancendum Camps
Gloomrot North → Trancendum Camps along the roads west and north of the region; Tech Scrap Piles also occur at Trancendum Laboratories and Trancendum Machine Factory.
Before you go
- Access to Gloomrot North with gear appropriate to its Trancendum enemies.
- A Merciless Iron weapon for harvesting Scrap Piles.
- Inventory space for Tech Scrap and Depleted Batteries.
Farming steps
- Open the map and choose a Trancendum Camp in Gloomrot North; favor camps along your route so you can clear several without backtracking.
- Approach carefully and defeat or draw away the camp’s Trancendum guards before mining.
- Identify the scrap heap prop among the camp supplies; do not confuse ordinary crates with harvestable piles.
- Strike the Scrap Pile with a Merciless Iron weapon to gather Tech Scrap and any Depleted Battery drop.
- Move away after each strike and watch for an explosion before continuing to harvest nearby piles.
- Sweep the remaining camp piles, then travel to the next Trancendum Camp or return to your castle to store the haul.
- Use Tech Scrap for its planned recipe, such as the Fabricator, Advanced Grinder, Schematics, or Radium Alloy chain.
- The region’s north camps are a useful repeatable route because the item source is the Scrap Pile itself, not only enemy drops.
- Keep Depleted Batteries separate from Tech Scrap; both have later uses and can be processed at different structures.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the named camp sweep when the piles have respawned on your server. Harvest availability depends on server world state, so check the camp rather than assuming a fixed refresh interval.
Common mistakes
- Using an ordinary weapon may fail to harvest the Scrap Pile; bring the Merciless Iron tool.
- Standing next to a pile while it explodes can interrupt the trip or kill you.
- Killing only camp enemies and leaving the piles untouched misses this guide’s main Tech Scrap source.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have enough Tech Scrap for the recipe you planned, or when the remaining camps are too dangerous for the current gear.
