Before you go
- Unlock Moongolow through Hyper mode on four normal stages.
- Bring a build that can handle the stage’s enemies and encounter.
- Choose the character you want to receive any egg investment.
- Have gold ready if you plan to buy eggs.
Farming steps
- Start Moongolow as the character you want to improve.
- Build enough offense and defense to keep moving safely through the stage.
- Play through the stage encounter and defeat a Moon Guardian when it appears.
- Collect the Golden Egg dropped by the guardian before moving on.
- For a purchase route, locate the Merchant and interact with the shop before leaving the stage.
- Use Eggman for bulk purchases when unlocked; otherwise buy eggs from the regular Merchant.
- After the run, continue with the chosen character so the investment supports your intended build.
- Guardian drops and Eggman purchases are separate options; one does not require the other.
- Check your active character before collecting or buying eggs if you are managing upgrades across a roster.
Repeat, collect and use
Moongolow can be revisited for more egg opportunities. Guardian drops depend on the encounter, while Eggman purchases require access and gold.
Common mistakes
- Expecting a Guardian immediately: continue through the stage and defeat one when the encounter appears.
- Using the regular Merchant for bulk buying: Eggman is the bulk-purchase option.
- Investing in the wrong character: eggs apply to the character being played.
When to stop or switch
Stop once the planned pickup or purchase is complete, then return to the progression target those upgrades support.
