Unlock Moongolow bonus stage
Stage selection, after Hyper mode is unlocked for four normal stages.
Before you go
- Have four normal stages available with Hyper mode still to unlock.
- Complete each stage’s Hyper mode unlock condition.
- Bring a character strong enough to complete the relevant runs.
Farming steps
- Open the unlock listing or stage selection and identify normal stages whose Hyper mode is still locked.
- Choose one of those stages and complete its Hyper unlock condition in the game.
- Return to the unlock listing or stage selection and confirm Hyper mode is available for that stage.
- Repeat for other normal stages until four have Hyper mode unlocked.
- Check stage selection for Moongolow and select it when it appears.
- Open the stage map to orient yourself among its floor items and Merchant.
- Choose a Moongolow objective, such as collecting accessories or making a Merchant purchase.
- Track the four qualifying stages so you do not repeat a completed unlock.
- Moongolow’s own Hyper mode is unlocked by default when the bonus stage opens.
Repeat, collect and use
This stage unlock is one-time progression. Moongolow can be replayed after it appears in stage selection.
Common mistakes
- Counting a bonus stage toward the four normal stages: use normal stages with Hyper mode unlocks.
- Trying to complete Moongolow before it is available: first unlock Hyper mode on four normal stages.
- Searching for an entrance in another stage: check stage selection once the prerequisites are met.
When to stop or switch
Stop once Moongolow appears in stage selection; move on to its Merchant, item, or encounter goals.
