Stash Upgrades add capacity rows to train storage containers, giving gathered materials more room aboard. Research each available tier through the Research Table, then follow its displayed unlock instructions and check the containers for the added space.
Before you go A Research Table aboard the train. Storage containers already placed on the train. Resources shown in-game for the next available Stash Upgrade tier. Open the Research Table and locate the Stash Upgrades chain. Select the next available tier and review its current displayed cost. Gather the listed inputs and complete the research. Follow any construction or activation instruction shown for that tier. Open a train container and confirm the added capacity rows. Sort gathered resources into containers and clear loose items from the deck before gates. Farming tips The chain has four levels, but use the in-game display for current costs rather than relying on remembered recipes. Relocate containers with the hammer if their placement makes the new storage awkward to use. Repeat, collect and use Repeat through the available upgrade tiers; capacity research is limited to the chain’s tiers, not a renewable material farm.
Common mistakes Looking for a separate capacity item when the upgrade is in the Research Table chain; check the technology branch. Assuming an unlock is free to build; follow any displayed build or activation step. Leaving valuable overflow on the deck; store it before a gate barrier. When to stop or switch Stop researching this chain when all available tiers are complete or when another progression upgrade has higher immediate value.
