Farming steps
- Watch for a visible piece of debris close beside the trolley.
- Stop or slow the train if needed to keep it within a short return distance.
- Step off and gather the item without swimming toward distant debris.
- Press F to reel back while the train is still close.
- Put the collected material into a built container.
- Repeat only for nearby items, checking the trolley position between trips.
- Swimming close to the train grants a movement speed boost, making near-train collection easier.
- Treat the tether as a return aid, not permission to pursue faraway debris.

Repeat for each safe nearby gathering opportunity; this is a collection procedure rather than a separate upgrade or guaranteed resource farm.
Common mistakes
- Leaving the train when it is already too far away; wait for a closer opportunity.
- Continuing after the trolley drifts out of sight or reach; return with F promptly.
- Leaving materials loose on the deck; store them before gate barriers.
When to stop or switch
Stop swimming as soon as the tether return feels uncertain or the train begins to pull out of safe proximity.
