Farming steps
- Stop at the depot and check the immediate area for soldiers before entering exposed structures.
- Defeat nearby guards if present, then search accessible outpost containers.
- Collect any useful materials, amber, tokens, or progression items that actually appear.
- Check fallen soldiers for loot after the area is safe.
- Return to the train and sort the haul into containers by use.
- Before departure, check that no valuable items remain loose on the deck.
- Do not plan a recipe around a random depot drop; use repeatable gathering or crafting for exact quantities.
- Use the depot stop to review research and prepare materials for the next train upgrade.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat at each reachable depot, but the contents are mixed and not a guaranteed source of any particular item.
Common mistakes
- Entering a guarded outpost without checking for soldiers; clear nearby threats first.

When to stop or switch
