- Progress through the dungeon to the boss room without starting the boss encounter.

- Decide with the group whether the visible rewards support your goal and whether the party can execute the extra mechanic.
- Activate the stele only if the interface offers the interaction and the group accepts the added challenge.
- Fight the boss while handling the stele mechanic; follow the actual combat prompts rather than a remembered strategy from another dungeon.
- After the encounter, inspect the rewards and note what the stele changed before deciding whether to repeat.
