Before you go
- Unlock Apollodorus on Mercury.
- Bring a loadout capable of sustaining Survival against the node’s enemies.
- Check the Ferrite quantity required for the intended craft.
Farming steps
- Start the Survival mission and activate its objective.
- Stay with the squad in an area where enemies and life support remain manageable.
- Defeat enemies and collect Ferrite from their drops.
- Break nearby containers and open lockers during the run.
- Use life support capsules when the gauge falls.
- Check your inventory against the planned recipe after a reward interval.
- Extract when the target quantity is reached and extraction is available.
- Containers and lockers are useful additional sources; do not rely only on enemy drops.
- Use this early node if it is already accessible rather than traveling to a later planet solely for Ferrite.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat Survival runs as needed; the resource amount varies with drops and pickups.
Common mistakes
- Ignoring lockers and containers; sweep the immediate area while moving.
- Letting life support run low while searching; maintain the objective first.
- Leaving without comparing inventory to the recipe; set a specific stop target.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the Foundry recipe’s Ferrite requirement is covered, or extract if the squad cannot sustain the mission.
