WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Rewards screen after completing a mission launched from the Mourningstar mission board.
The Emperor’s Gift is awarded after mission completion, with its potential quality influenced by difficulty, conditions, and side missions. No specific weapon, Curio, or rating is guaranteed. A sensible farm is to choose a challenge your squad can finish, complete worthwhile side objectives when feasible, and review the gift afterward. Compare the item with your current gear, then keep or develop it through the game’s available equipment systems.
Choose a mission the team can complete successfully.
Select difficulty and conditions suitable for the group.
Allow time for side objectives the squad can complete safely.
Open the mission board and compare the available difficulties and conditions.
Choose a mission that offers a useful challenge without making completion unreliable.
During the run, complete feasible side objectives when the team can handle them safely.
Finish the primary mission and extract successfully.
Check the post-mission screen for an Emperor’s Gift.
Compare the gift’s weapon or Curio with your current equipment and build plan.
Keep or improve the item through the available gear systems if it is useful.
Farming tips
Difficulty, conditions, and side missions influence potential quality, but do not guarantee a particular result.
Do optional objectives when practical; a failed run loses the completion opportunity.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat successful missions for further gift opportunities. A gift is a completion reward opportunity, not a guaranteed upgrade or fixed item; no limited claim count is established here.
Common mistakes
Expecting a particular weapon or rating: evaluate each gift when it appears.
Choosing difficulty beyond the team’s reliable range: select a level you can finish.
Skipping every side objective: complete feasible ones when seeking better gift potential.
When to stop or switch
Stop when a gift improves your build or when the mission no longer offers a worthwhile balance between completion odds and reward potential.
