Where to farm
Holseher’s Pilgrimage Map during an intermission between Chaos Wastes missions.
Patch 6.6 introduced the ability to purge an individual boon from the Pilgrimage Map between Chaos Wastes missions. This provides a way to remove a run-specific effect that is unwanted or no longer fits your build. It does not alter persistent campaign equipment, and the change applies only to the active Expedition. Consider the effect and the map’s available purge option before spending or proceeding.
Have an active Chaos Wastes Expedition with at least one boon.
Reach an intermission where the Pilgrimage Map is available.
Identify which boon you intend to remove before confirming the purge.
Open the Pilgrimage Map between missions.
Review the boons currently affecting the run.
Select the individual boon that is unwanted.
Use the displayed purge option and confirm if prompted.
Check the remaining build to understand what effects are still active.
Continue the pilgrimage with the revised run setup.
Farming tips
Purging is most useful when a specific boon conflicts with the build or is no longer valuable; do not remove one without checking its effect.
The action is limited to the active Wastes run, so it does not change hero talents or campaign gear.
Repeat, collect and use
You can use the option when available during an active Expedition and when there is a boon to remove. Purged boons and run effects do not carry to another Expedition.
Common mistakes
Looking for the option in campaign crafting or equipment menus; the purge is on the Wastes Pilgrimage Map.
Removing a boon without checking what it does; review the run build first.
Expecting the change to apply to future runs; it only adjusts the active Expedition.
When to stop or switch
Purge only when you have a clear reason to remove an effect; otherwise continue the route with the boon intact.
