WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Small Kemono habitats in the named regions; Canecrown Viper can also be kept in a Wildlife Cage.

Pet Kemono Seeds are a crafting material, so choose a source based on which region you can reach and whether you want direct captures or passive cage output. Named seed-dropping small Kemono include Canecrown Viper and Berrybright Squirrel in Harugasumi Way, Cherrytinge Ladybug in Akikure Canyon, Frostberry Squirrel in Fuyufusagi Fort, and Orangetufted Constrictor in Natsukodachi Isle. Capture the animal for its direct material route, or use a Wildlife Cage for the Canecrown Viper’s passive unique item. Confirm the item name in your inventory before crafting.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Reach a region containing one of the named small Kemono.
  • Have the ability to capture small Kemono.
  • For passive output, unlock and build a Wildlife Cage Dragon Karakuri.
  1. Identify which seed source is accessible: select a named small Kemono from the region list in this guide.
  2. Find that animal in its region and capture it rather than defeating it.
  3. Check the resulting material in your inventory for Pet Kemono Seeds.
  4. For passive collection, capture a Canecrown Viper and place it in a Wildlife Cage.
  5. Allow the cage to produce its item, then return and collect it.
  6. Use the seeds in the crafting recipe that requests them.

Farming tips

  • Use the direct capture route when you need material now; the cage route is useful while doing other hunts.
  • The Canyon spelling used here is Akikure Canyon.

Repeat, collect and use

Direct capture can be repeated when you need more. Cage output is periodic; collect it after production and do not count it as an immediate reward.

Common mistakes

  • Attacking instead of capturing: use capture methods for the small Kemono material route.
  • Searching the wrong region: match the animal to its named habitat before traveling.
  • Expecting a cage item immediately: give passive production time and collect after it is ready.

When to stop or switch

Stop when your inventory covers the seed recipe, or switch to another named source if the current habitat is inconvenient.
