Where to farm

The Valley of Crying Wraiths, downhill from the later Battle Flag, beyond the Shitieshou in the area with two Changgui.

The Valley of Crying Wraiths contains a Dragon Vein Essence beyond the Shitieshou and near two Changgui. Continue past the later Battle Flag and inspect the downhill area instead of staying on the main path. The pickup is permanent progression, not a repeatable enemy reward.

How to farm

Before you go

  • Unlock The Valley of Crying Wraiths.
  • Progress to the later Battle Flag reached after climbing a ladder.
  • Be prepared to navigate the Changgui area or approach it carefully.
  1. Advance through the battlefield until you climb the ladder and raise the later Battle Flag.
  2. From that flag, continue down the hill toward the first Shitieshou on your right.
  3. Pass the Shitieshou into the same broader area where two Changgui patrol.
  4. Search the ledge and ground around that area for the Dragon Vein Essence pickup.
  5. Collect it, then reach a Battle Flag and open Supplies followed by the Dragon’s Cure Pot option.
  6. Apply the Essence and verify that the healing amount has increased.

Farming tips

  • The mission collectible listing places it in the Changgui area after the Shitieshou; check around the enemies rather than defeating them for a drop.
  • You can return after the story if you miss the item; replay the named battlefield and follow the same landmark sequence.

Repeat, collect and use

One-time pickup per playthrough. Revisit only to collect a missed Essence; defeating the nearby enemies does not regenerate it.

Common mistakes

  • Stopping at the Shitieshou: the pickup is farther on in the area with the two Changgui.
  • Expecting an enemy drop: search the environment for the fixed item.
  • Confusing an Essence with a Crystal: apply it through the pot interface to strengthen healing, not to add uses.

When to stop or switch

Stop searching once the Essence is collected and applied; switch to another named battlefield if you still need Cure Pot upgrades.
