WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Main and sub-battlefields selected from the battlefield map.
Dragon Vein Crystals and Essences are placed pickups in named battlefields, not random enemy rewards. Search branches and optional spaces while progressing, then record the mission if you miss one. You can replay the battlefield later and collect the fixed item without repeating the full campaign.
Be able to reach its optional branches or side rooms.
Have access to a Battle Flag to apply any pickup you find.
Before entering a battlefield, decide whether you are searching for a Crystal, an Essence, or both.
As you progress, check side alleys, elevated ledges, guarded rooms, and chest branches that diverge from the main route.
Use named landmarks and nearby flags to orient yourself; the collectible’s mission name narrows the search.
When you find a pickup, collect it and note its type and location.
At a Battle Flag, apply the item through Supplies and Dragon’s Cure Pot.
If the mission ends before you find the target, write down its name and landmark rather than searching the entire route again.
Select that battlefield from the map when ready to revisit the missed location.
Farming tips
Treat each collectible as a one-time objective; defeating nearby enemies again does not replenish it.
Prioritize the named pickup in the mission you are already playing to avoid needless backtracking.
Repeat, collect and use
Search once per uncollected pickup per playthrough. Mission replay is available for missed items, but already collected Crystals and Essences do not form a repeatable farm.
Common mistakes
Searching enemies for a drop: explore the fixed location instead.
Leaving without identifying the missed mission: record its name and landmark while the route is fresh.
Expecting replay to award another upgrade: use replay only for a pickup you still lack.
When to stop or switch
Stop searching a battlefield after its target pickup is collected; switch to the next mission containing an upgrade you still need.
