In Search of the Immortal Wizard, branch above the Zhupolong’s location near the final Battle Flag.
Before you go
- Unlock In Search of the Immortal Wizard.
- Progress to the Zhupolong area near the final Battle Flag.
- Be able to explore the elevated branch above that area.
Farming steps
- Advance through the mission until you reach the Zhupolong’s location near the final Battle Flag.
- Use the nearby flag and the enemy’s position to establish the landmark before moving on.
- Inspect the routes above the Zhupolong’s area for a branch that overlooks or rises above its position.
- Follow that branch and collect the Dragon Vein Essence.
- Reach a Battle Flag and open Supplies, then Dragon’s Cure Pot.
- Apply the Essence and confirm your healing recovery has improved.
- Look vertically around the landmark: the pickup is on a higher branch rather than along the obvious ground route.
- You can return after finishing the mission if you missed the branch; the item remains a fixed collectible.
Repeat, collect and use
One-time pickup per playthrough. Revisit only to collect the missed Essence; it does not respawn after collection.
Common mistakes
- Searching only at ground level: inspect the branch above the Zhupolong.
- Farming the Zhupolong for the Essence: the reward is a placed pickup.
- Leaving without applying it: use the Cure Pot option at a Battle Flag.
When to stop or switch
Stop once collected and applied; switch to another listed mission if you are still missing Cure Pot upgrades.
