This final-flag branch holds a fixed Essence that increases Dragon’s Cure Pot healing effectiveness.
WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Collect Dragon Vein Essence in Darkness Over the Hanshui River
Darkness Over the Hanshui River, chest in a hut reached from a small wooden balcony near the final Battle Flag.
Before you go
- Unlock Darkness Over the Hanshui River.
- Reach the final Battle Flag.
- Be able to traverse the small wooden balcony route.
Farming steps
- Stand at the final Battle Flag and head left to collect the item at the path’s end.
- Turn around and look for the small wooden balcony on the return route.
- Jump to the balcony and enter the hut.
- Open the chest inside and collect the Dragon Vein Essence.
- At a Battle Flag, open Supplies and choose Dragon’s Cure Pot.
- Apply the Essence and check that the healing amount has increased.
- Follow the two-part landmark sequence: take the left path first, then turn back for the balcony.
- The chest is the source of the upgrade, so defeating enemies nearby is not required to roll for it.
Repeat, collect and use
One-time pickup per playthrough. Replay the mission only if the chest was not opened; the Essence does not respawn.
Common mistakes
- Stopping after the left path item: turn back and check the wooden balcony.
- Searching the hut exterior for a drop: enter and open the chest.
- Confusing the Essence with a Crystal: the Essence improves recovery, while a Crystal adds uses.
When to stop or switch
Stop once the chest is looted and the Essence is applied; move to another missing pickup or return to progression.
