Collect Dragon Vein Essence in The Yellow Heaven Burns
The Yellow Heaven Burns, beyond the second Battle Flag on the ledges, in a chest beside a Changgui.
Before you go
- Unlock The Yellow Heaven Burns.
- Reach the second Battle Flag in the battlefield.
- Be prepared to pass or fight the Changgui near the chest.
Farming steps
- Progress through The Yellow Heaven Burns until you raise the second Battle Flag.
- From the flag, take the rising ledges onward rather than turning back toward the earlier route.
- Continue along the path until you reach a Changgui.
- Inspect beside the Changgui for a chest and open it to collect the Dragon Vein Essence.
- Continue to a Battle Flag and open Supplies, then Dragon’s Cure Pot.
- Apply the Essence and check the displayed healing improvement.
- Approach the chest with attention to the nearby Changgui; you can plan the encounter before opening the area.
- The Essence is fixed in the chest, so there is no need to repeat combat after collecting it.
Repeat, collect and use
One-time pickup per playthrough. Replay the battlefield only if the Essence was missed; the chest does not replenish it.
Common mistakes
- Searching for a Changgui drop: the Essence is in a nearby chest.
- Leaving from the second flag without taking the ledges: follow the route until the Changgui landmark.
- Confusing this with a Crystal: use the Essence to improve healing amount, not the number of uses.
When to stop or switch
Stop once the chest is looted and the Essence is applied; move to another uncollected upgrade if desired.
