Before you go
- The relevant Midnight crafting profession.
- Recipe access and materials for the selected order.
- Access to the Crafting Orders interface.
Farming steps
- Open Crafting Orders and switch to the Patron Work Orders list for your profession.
- Inspect the displayed reward on each available order and identify those granting profession knowledge.
- Review the requested recipe, optional materials, and quality conditions before accepting.
- Gather or purchase materials you lack and craft the requested item.
- Submit the completed order through the interface.
- Confirm the knowledge reward and check the profession journal before selecting another order.
- Not every Patron order offers knowledge; read its reward panel before investing time or materials.
- Catch-up orders may remain for characters behind the knowledge cap, so check the board if progression stalls.
Repeat, collect and use
Orders are available according to the in-game board and progression state; knowledge rewards are not an unlimited farm. Stop when the weekly knowledge rewards you want are exhausted.
Common mistakes
- Assuming every order gives points can waste materials; select only orders with a visible knowledge reward.
- Accepting an order without recipe or material access can leave it unfinished; inspect requirements first.
- Assuming buying more materials creates more knowledge rewards ignores board limits; verify remaining eligible orders.
When to stop or switch
Stop when no available order offers knowledge you need or when required materials exceed the reward’s value; revisit the board as availability changes.
