Before you go
- Midnight Season 2 access and access to the Coiled Isle.
- A Prey contract available in the activity interface.
- A character able to complete the selected hunt.
Farming steps
- Open the Prey activity interface and select a contract available in the Coiled Isle.
- Read the contract objectives and travel to the indicated open-world activity area.
- Complete the associated objectives while pursuing the selected prey.
- Finish the hunt and claim its available completion rewards.
- Check Great Vault activity credit to confirm the contribution.
- Choose another available contract if you still need weekly progress.
- Use the Vault tracker as the authority for your current threshold; credit depends on activity rules displayed in game.
- Choose Prey when you also want its event rewards, since extra runs after the desired Vault progress need another purpose.
Repeat, collect and use
Prey hunts may be repeated while available, but Vault progress is weekly and does not make each run an immediate reward claim. Stop when your chosen weekly threshold is filled.
Common mistakes
- Assuming one hunt fills a particular Vault row can mislead planning; check the tracker after completion.
- Leaving before contract objectives are complete may prevent full credit; finish the displayed tasks.
- Continuing hunts after the target threshold without another reward goal can waste time; review progress first.
When to stop or switch
Stop after reaching the desired weekly Vault threshold or when contract rewards no longer fit your goals; collect the Vault reward after reset.
