Heart of Flames in the Simulacrum Nexus; find the Dream Fox Statue that holds the Heart of Flames Key.
Before you go
- Unlock the Simulacrum Nexus through Main Quest Chapter IV Act IV, “Simulacrum of the Heart.”
- Reach Heart of Flames and locate the Dream Fox Statue.
- Follow the on-screen puzzle objective and Key ability prompts.
Farming steps
- Enter Heart of Flames and look for the Dream Fox Statue identified as the holder of the Key.
- Interact with the statue to obtain the Heart of Flames Key and its Reconstruction ability.
- Inspect the nearby anomaly and use Reconstruction to restore it, following the active puzzle prompt.
- If the puzzle requires an earlier state, switch the Key to Deconstruction and reverse the reconstructed change.
- Continue using the relevant mode on nearby anomalies until the on-screen objective advances or completes.
- Return the Key to the Dream Fox Statue when prompted; the holder transforms into its finished form.
- Check the objective tracker and claim any reward it displays.
- Use Reconstruction for restoring anomalies; Deconstruction reverses that change rather than creating a second permanent state.
- Apply the ability to nearby objects or creatures indicated by the puzzle, and let the current prompt guide the sequence.
Repeat, collect and use
The Key puzzle and its completion reward are one-time progression objectives. You can use the Key mechanics while solving the puzzle, but the completed reward is not a repeatable farm.
Common mistakes
- Leaving Reconstruction active when the puzzle needs the prior state: switch to Deconstruction to undo the change.
- Expecting every Heart Realm to use this Key: these mechanics are specifically associated with Heart of Flames and its Dream Fox Statue.
- Walking away before returning the Key: complete the holder step and check the tracker for the completion reward.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the objective is marked complete, the Key has been returned to the statue, and any displayed reward has been claimed; then move to another unfinished objective.
