Before you go
- Unlock the relevant Mengzhou areas through story progression.
- Confirm Cloudperch Seed is still required on Jingran’s ascension screen.
- Have access to the three named map areas.
- Check inventory and shop stock before deciding how much to collect.
Farming steps
- Open Jingran’s Resonator upgrade screen and note the Cloudperch Seed shortfall for the ascension rank you plan to unlock.
- Travel to Xuanfang Realm Gate in Luoyuan Southern Hills and collect visible Cloudperch Seed pickups in the area.
- Continue to Xianling Village in Luoyuan Southern Hills and gather the visible specialty nodes there.
- Travel to Dongyou Pass in Xuan You Eastern Peak and collect visible nodes in that area.
- Check the inventory after each area so you can track actual pickups without assuming a total count.
- Visit Huaxu Apothecary and check whether Cloudperch Seed is available for purchase.
- Return to Jingran’s ascension screen, compare your amount with the remaining cost, and make another pass only if needed.
- The three place names are collection areas, not a verified count or guaranteed route sequence.
- If a pickup is not visible, check the map and your story access before assuming the area is exhausted.
Repeat, collect and use
Regional pickups are limited until eligible nodes respawn; repeat the named areas only while Jingran needs more. Shop availability is separately limited.
Common mistakes
- Using the Cloudperch Seed route for Hsin: this material is associated with Jingran, so check the correct character screen.
- Assuming a fixed number of nodes: collect and count what appears in your own world.
- Gathering without checking the apothecary: available shop stock may reduce the amount of field collection needed.
When to stop or switch
Stop when Jingran’s planned ascension ranks have enough Cloudperch Seed, or switch to another ascension requirement while pickups or shop stock are unavailable.
