An organized chamber area makes it easier to process collected research items and claim Bytes without losing track of inputs.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
A base production area with the Research Chamber beside power and a dedicated research-item storage space.
Build a simple base routine around the Research Chamber: separate finds from crafting stock, keep power connected, and collect each Byte output before loading the next item. The method reduces handling mistakes during repeated research runs. It does not require a particular automation system; the core loop is storing, loading, powering, and unloading the chamber.
Place the chamber where you can reach its input and output from the same work area.
Connect the chamber to the base power supply and confirm it is ready to process.
Sort collected samples and research items into a dedicated storage lane.
Load one item into the chamber so its output is easy to attribute to that find.
Allow the chamber to process while power remains connected.
Collect the resulting Bytes before loading the next item.
Move the processed item aside and restock the chamber from the research storage lane.
Farming tips
Keep unprocessed finds and completed items in separate storage so you can see what still needs processing.
Load one item at a time when tracking research progress matters.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the load, process, collect, and restock loop for each additional research find. The chamber can be used continuously, but each cycle needs another eligible item or sample.
Common mistakes
Allowing research finds to mix with ore: separate them so they do not get used for the wrong purpose.
Loading the next item before claiming output: collect the Bytes first to keep the process clear.
Disconnecting or neglecting power: confirm the chamber remains powered during processing.
When to stop or switch
Pause when the Bytes reach your next unlock target or the research storage lane is empty. Resume after another exploration trip brings back more samples or items.
