Where to farm
Chapter 2, Fright Cliff: waterfall to the right of Rockrest Flat Shrine, up the stairs.
The waterfall beside Rockrest Flat conceals the entrance to Hidden Loong Cavern, but it only opens when you have Loong Scales. This is an access route, not a repeatable loot farm. The cavern has its own Keeper’s Shrine, so activate it before attempting the optional Loong encounter. If the passage does not respond, check your key items rather than searching for another entrance.

How to farm
Before you go
Reach Rockrest Flat in Fright Cliff.
Obtain the Loong Scales key item.
Be ready for an optional boss encounter after entering the cavern.
Travel to the Rockrest Flat Keeper’s Shrine.
From the Shrine, head to the right side and climb the stairs toward the waterfall.
Approach the waterfall and interact with it while Loong Scales are in your key items.
Enter the revealed passage and follow the stairs into Hidden Loong Cavern.
Find and activate the Keeper’s Shrine inside the cavern before going farther.
Rest or prepare at the Shrine, then choose whether to challenge the optional Loong encounter.
Use the Shrine checkpoint if you leave and return to the cavern later.
Farming tips
Loong Scales are the gate; without them, the waterfall remains sealed.
Activating the cavern Shrine makes the optional encounter easier to retry without repeating the full approach.
Repeat, collect and use
The entrance unlock and cavern Shrine activation are one time. The optional boss is not a standard enemy reset farm; use the checkpoint for attempts rather than expecting repeatable drops.
Common mistakes
Searching the waterfall without Loong Scales; obtain the key item first.
Entering the encounter without activating the interior Shrine; establish the checkpoint on arrival.
Confusing this hidden location with Loong Claw Grove, which is a separate secret area.
When to stop or switch
Stop exploring the entrance route once the cavern Shrine is active; proceed with the optional encounter when ready or return to chapter progression.
