Credits pay for student development and skill upgrades. Farm Item Retrieval when planned upgrades are blocked by a low Credits balance.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Commissions > Item Retrieval. Check the selected stage’s reward preview for Credits.
Item Retrieval spends AP to earn Credits. Verify Credits in the stage reward preview, then clear a difficulty your team can complete and meet its displayed sweep conditions. Sweeps add the payout to your shared Credits balance, which you can use for student levels, skills, and other upgrades. Base Defense is the Commission for Activity Reports, so use Item Retrieval when Credits are the specific shortage. Choose a stage you can clear consistently and compare its preview before committing AP.
Have AP available and a squad able to clear an Item Retrieval stage.
For sweeping, clear the stage and satisfy its displayed eligibility requirements.
Open Commissions and select Item Retrieval.
Compare the stage previews and verify Credits are listed.
Attempt the highest difficulty your squad can complete reliably.
If you cannot clear it or meet its conditions, choose a lower stage you can finish.
Complete the displayed requirements to make the selected stage sweep-eligible.
Sweep the stage when Credits are needed.
Spend the collected Credits on the student, skill, or other upgrades you planned.
Farming tips
A higher difficulty only helps if you can clear it; use the reward preview and your reliable clear as your guide.
Check current in-game notices for rotating reward campaigns before committing AP.
Repeat, collect and use
This is an ongoing AP farm, not a one-time reward. Repeat eligible sweeps while you need Credits, then spend the balance on your planned upgrades. Stop or redirect AP once those costs are funded or another resource becomes more urgent.
Common mistakes
Farming Base Defense for Credits: Item Retrieval awards Credits; Base Defense awards Activity Reports.
Entering a difficulty without confirming its reward or conditions: check the preview first.
Spending the balance without considering upcoming costs: prioritize upgrades tied to your current roster plan.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you can cover your planned upgrade costs, or switch to Base Defense if Activity Reports become the bigger bottleneck.
